Prince Harry and his polo pal Nacho Figueras have been known to share a close friendship, but they put their bromance aside on Sunday for a charity polo match in Singapore.
The Duke of Sussex and Figueras played on opposing teams in the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, which raised money for the Sentebale charity that Harry co-founded in 2006. Sentebale supports children and young people affected by HIV and AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana.
Harry’s team, the Royal Salute, won the match 7-7. Figueras’ team, the Singapore Polo Club, was awarded the most valuable player award.
After the match, Harry and Figueras were reunited and shared a hug. They also posed for photos with the Sentebale children who were in attendance.
The match was a successful event for Sentebale, raising over $1 million. Harry and Figueras’ participation helped to draw attention to the charity’s work and to raise much-needed funds.
